“Zen does not confuse spirituality with thinking about God while one is peeling potatoes. Zen spirituality is just to peel the potatoes.” ~ Alan Watts
Zen is hard to define, because I don’t really think it can be. Most people think it is about ‘chill vibes’, but really it is a state of being. It is accepting things for the way they are. Living and experiencing the reality of this life, and growing within that experience. It’s about awareness of the illusion of separation whilst working to bring humanity together, knowing the truth that we are one. That’s why I decided to call myself the Zen Lawyer. Lawyers have before them greatest opportunities to delve into this life and experience all its facets. I want all lawyers to know how this can be done with purpose and meaning.
I like chat about life and it’s peculiarities in my blog on The Zen Lawyer.
